HISTORY OF THE HOUSTON
ALUMNI ORGANIZATION (HAO)

The University of Houston Alumni Association has supported the University of Houston
and its alumni since 1940.

We represent the interests of more than 190,000 graduates and boast roughly 18,000 active members, 3,400 of whom are Life Members! From student scholarships to faculty and alumni recognition awards to legislative advocacy and community outreach, HAO is working to enhance the value of your UH degree.

Within our 30 plus constituent associations and area clubs, we coordinate more than 400 networking programs, meetings and activities each year. These events, along with the UH Alumni Quarterly magazine and e-communications, provide a great way for you to keep your Cougar connections strong!
