Jonathon Simmons – 6'6, 190, F (Midland Junior College, TX) – A Houston native, Simmons prepped at Smiley High School and was an All-District 21-4A Second-Team honoree as a junior in 2006-07. Last season, he averaged 13.3 points and 4.0 rebounds per game while shooting 55 percent from the field.

Darian Thibodeaux – 6'3, 175, G (Navarro Junior College, TX) – Thibodeaux averaged 11.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game last season, leading Navarro to a top-25 national ranking and berth in the NJCAA Tournament semifinals. During a quarterfinal match-up against East Mississippi, he posted a career-high 30 points, including eight 3-pointers.
