For the second straight season, the Houston Cougar football team will finish their season by playing Air Force in the Bell Helicopter Armed Forces Bowl. The game will be played December 31 at 11:00 am in Fort Worth’s Amon G. Carter Stadium (on the TCU campus). more

| COLLEGE OF ARCHITECTURE NAMES PATRICIA OLIVER AS NEW DEAN
Patricia Belton Oliver, who served as senior vice president of educational planning and architecture at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California from 2001-2008, has been named dean of the Gerald D. Hines College of Architecture. She will assume the post beginning Jan. 20, 2010. more

2010 Awards Dinner Honorees Announced

UH Considers New Athletics Facilities
Looking to perform a feasibility study on upgrading its football and basketball facilities, the University of Houston has chosen six architectural firms as finalists. Twelve firms originally placed bids to handle the study, which will explore eight different scenarios involving Robertson Stadium and/or Hofheinz Pavilion.

Coach SUmlin Named Finalist for Bryant Award
