Life Member Circle
of Excellence
Life members who have fulfilled their life
membership commitment are invited to join the Life Member
Circle of Excellence. The program recognizes Life Members who
show their pride by making an additional year-end gift, above
and beyond the Life Membership commitment.
Individuals
who give a $250 gift will receive a solid gold lapel pin,
those who contribute $500 or more will receive a ruby and gold
lapel pin, and donors of $1,000 or more will receive a very
unique diamond and gold lapel pin. Circle of Excellence donors
are also recognized in the Houston Alumline magazine
and at special events.
Named Gift
Opportunities "Wall of Honor" & "Walk of Honor" Plaque
In addition to the
tiles available in the "Walk of Honor", several other naming
opportunities are available at the Alumni Center. Inscribe
your name on the marble "Wall of Honor" in the John O'Quinn
Great Hall for $1,000 or name a column in the "Walk of Honor"

on how you can become a donor for the Alumni Center endowment
campaign.

Endowment Gifts You may establish a scholarship endowment in
your name with a minimum gift of $10,000. Please call Connie

Sponsorships Corporate and individual sponsorships provide
an opportunity to reach the students and graduates of the
University of Houston, the most diverse student body in the
nation.
Sponsorships are available for many programs
and events including programs for incoming freshmen,
scholarships and awards programs, new graduate dinners,
athletic events and other alumni programs and events. Please

"Walk of Honor" Tile
A perfect way to
recognize a new graduate, faculty member, or loved one. Named
tiles are $250 and are installed in the "Walk of Honor" in
front of the Alumni Center. (Tiles are installed in batches of
144 and may take 25 - 36 months to install.)
Year-End/ Annual Support Gifts
Your year-end gift (annual members) or annual
support gift (Life Members) helps HAO to keep the "Cougar
Connection" strong for all of alumni! Specifically, your gift
goes towards scholarships, legislative advocacy, programs,
student recruitment, and more... all to the benefit of our
great university!
